Show HN: I’m building a tool to unify job tracking, skills, and salary insights

After 20 years of navigating different roles in tech and business, I kept running into the same problem: managing a career meant stitching together job boards, resumes, spreadsheets, salary tools, and vague advice. It felt like a mess of disconnected parts with no system to it. So, I started building BluBee.ai — a career management platform that tries to unify all of that, with a little help from AI. It’s still early, but here’s what I’m working on: • Unified Dashboard: Track job applications, skill gaps, and goals in one place • AI Suggestions: Career moves based on your experience and interests • Market Insights: Salary trends, in-demand skills, and company-level data • Portfolio Builder: A way to present your work that’s more than just a PDF • Mobile-Friendly: Clean design, works well on the go, dark/light modes included It’s very much a work in progress, and I’m learning a lot as I go — especially around how much people don’t trust black-box AI when it comes to career advice. I’d love feedback, especially from folks who’ve tried building tools like this or rolled their own systems out of frustration. What have you hacked together for your own career management? What’s broken that no one seems to be fixing?
