I made a very simple Chrome extension to deal with a problem I've faced for a while. When I'm trying to focus on work, I often get the urge to look up random ideas and end up getting distracted, sometimes wasting hours.
This extension lets me quickly type in whatever I feel like searching for, so I don't lose the idea—but I also don't get distracted in the moment. I can revisit the list later when I'm ready.
